  1. Port Overview

  1. Kauai, Hawaii

  2. Kauai is an island full of splendor, raw beauty, culture, aloha, and ancient lore. Visiting the island of Kauai is like a journey back in time, back to the beginning of the main Hawaiian chain. Kauai is dubbed the “Garden Isle” for good reason, it is by far the ‘greenest’ of the islands and thus the most lush in all of Hawaii. This jungle-like island can attribute its climate to the trade winds that blow over the land allowing the ancient volcanic peaks to catch rain from the sky and pull it down to the earth below. Mount Waialeale is one of these peaks and is the wettest spot on earth. In fact, all that rain allows Kauai to be the only island in Hawaii to have navigable rivers And so kayaking, canoeing, swimming, boating, and even jet skiing are favorite activities in Kauai.
