  1. Port Overview

  1. Bar Harbor, Maine, USA

  2. Bar Harbor is a town on Mount Desert Island in Hancock County, Maine, United States. Bar Harbor is home to the largest parts of Acadia National Park, including Cadillac Mountain, the highest point within 25 miles (40 km) of the coastline of the Eastern United States, and offshore, the Porcupine Islands.

Bar Harbor is a great base from which to bike, hike and sail around Maine’s Desert Island. It is very crowded in Summer, but the weather is still nice during September and early October. Lu Lu’s Lobster Boat Tour is a must and the Asticou Azalea Gardens is worth a visit.
