Isla San Telmo, Panama

Isla San Telmo is a nature reserve located in the Pearl Islands (Las Perlas archipelago), Panama. It is recognized as an important nesting site for many species of marine birds and turtles. It is also important to the route of migrating whales, especially during the month of September. San Telmo island is also famous for its World War II Japanese submarine that is stranded on the north coast.

The reserve itself includes 427 acres of forest, cliffs and sandy beaches, and was established as a nature reserve in 1996.
