  2. St. Marys is a city in Camden County, Georgia, United States. It is an historic waterfront village close to the Florida border. Visitors are attracted by the charm of its Victorian homes, its close proximity to both the seashore and the wilds of the Okefenokee Swamp, combined with a variety of outdoor activities.

    Some of the historic sights in St. Marys include the Orange House Hall Museum and Welcome Center, the Toonerville Trolley, historic churches, the Oak Grove Cemetery, the Cumberland Island National Seashore and the St. Marys Submarine Museum.

    Visitors can kayak the St. Marys River and byways during the day or at night under a moonlit sky. Catch fish either in shore or off shore or go scuba diving. There is a water taxi available for trips down to nearby Fernandina Beach just across the state line in Florida.
