  1. Port Overview

  1. Exmouth, Western Australia

  2. Exmouth is a town on the tip of the North West Cape in Western Australia. The town is located 1,270 kilometres (789 mi) north of the state capital Perth and 3,366 kilometres (2,092 mi) southwest of Darwin. It is a good base to visit the Cape Range National Park and dive on the nearby Ningaloo Reef.

Exmouth is surrounded by beautiful beaches and national parks. The Cape Range National Park which has some spectacular gorges is an area of 506 square kilometres and its main area is focused on the west coast of the Cape. The Ningaloo Reef, near the Exmouth town, is sometimes less than a few hundred meters off the coast. Several small dive companies and resorts offer dive trips to various locations on the reef. There are many attractive dive sites not far off-shore in Lighthouse Bay (near Vlamingh Head lighthouse). Excursions are also offered to the Point Murat Navy Pier.
