  2. Puerto Quepos is a city in Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica. It is surrounded by primary rainforest. The village center is a six-block square of restaurants, bars, hotels, bakeries, art galleries and gift shops located on the main beach.

    A visit to nearby Manuel Antonio National Park is a must. It is one of the most beautiful and bio-diverse areas in the world. Although it is the country's smallest national park, the stunning beauty and diversity of wildlife in its 683 hectares is unequalled.

    Port Location – The port of Quepos is located on the west coast of the country, about a 3 1/2 hour drive from the capital of San Jose and within a stone's throw of Manuel Antonio National Park, the most popular Park in Costa Rica. The port is within walking distance of the town.

    Transport Links - International flights usually arrive at the Juan Santamaria International Airport located 14 miles from downtown San Jose. Domestic flights are available from San Jose to Quepos. Buses and rental cars are also available to and from Puerto Quepos. Getting around on foot is the easiest way to see Quepos.
