  1. Port Overview

  1. Fiskardo, Greece

  2. Fiskardo (Fiscardo) is a small village located on the island of Kefalonia, the largest of the Greek Ionian Islands. It is regarded as one of the most beautiful in Greece. Fiskardo boasts lovely 18th century Venetian buildings built on limestone foundations, making it the only village on the island not destroyed in an earthquake in 1953.

Fiscardo is a favorite of yachters and flotillas and is also an artist colony. Once a quiet village it has now been 'discovered' and like most of the island, July and August can be a frustrating time to be here. It is a beautiful and enjoyable place to visit during the off season.

South of Fiscardo is the village of Assos which has a picturesque port area with pastel coloured houses and a Venetian fort. Nearby the beach of Myrtos is one of the most spectacular beaches in Greece with tall cliffs, white sand and crystal clear blue water.
