  2. Rimini is situated in northern Italy's Emilia-Romagna Region on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. Rimini is a popular seaside resort which attracts four million tourists a year to its white sandy beaches and vibrant nightlife scene. It also boasts over one thousand hotels, many chic boutiques and dozens of excellent restaurants.

    Rimini’s historic center features an Augustian arch and the stone Tiberius Bridge - two of Italy's oldest Roman monuments. Rimini's Tempio Malatestiano is also a must see. Other attractions include the fish market, the beachfront area and the Palazzo Arengo which is located in the old town.

    Travel Links - Rimini has its own International airport. Buses run the 7km from the airport to the railway station in the centre of the town. Some discount airlines go to Forli, which is around 55 km from Rimini.
    There is a train line that runs up and down the coast from Rimini, to Ravenna in the north and Ancona in the south, via any number of smaller resort towns.
