  2. Beaumaris is a well known historic town perched on the southeast corner of Anglesey, Wales, on the Menai Strait. It is famous for its medieval Beaumaris castle, dating back to the reign of Edward I and its Victorian pier, gaol & courthouse. It is also a major centre for yachting and also boasts two golf courses close to the town.

    There is a good selection of shops, restaurants and public houses in the town and all local amenities are within easy walking distance.
