  2. Malmö is Sweden's third-largest city and the commercial centre of southern Sweden. The 16 kilometre Öresund bridge and tunnel link to Denmark makes it a popular tourist destination. It has a reputation for being one of Sweden’s most cosmopolitan cities as well as a destination for fine food.

    Most of Malmö’s main attractions are located in the Old Town (Gamla Staden), which is encircled by canals. These include the Big Square, city hall, Hedmanska Garden, St Petri Kyrka church and Ebbas Hus on Snapperupsgatan, the smallest house in Malmö.

    Port Location – The port is located in the central parts of Malmö and smaller ships dock in the city centre and larger ships dock 1 km from city centre.

    Travel Links - Oresundtrains cross Øresund Bridge every 20 minutes connecting Malmö to Copenhagen, and the Copenhagen Airport. Also some of the X2000 and Intercity trains to Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Kalmar cross the bridge, stopping at Copenhagen Airport.

    Beside the Copenhagen Airport, Malmö has an airport of its own, Malmö Airport, today chiefly used for low-cost carriers, charter flight routes, and domestic Swedish destinations.

    Gråhundbus, Swebus Express, and Säfflebussen have routes to Copenhagen and other places. To Copenhagen the buses take longer but are cheaper than the train, especially for daytrips.
