The New York State Museum and the newly renovated State Capitol building, originally built in the late 1800's are worth a visit.

    The Albany-Rensselaer station is Amtrak's 10th busiest. It is not in Albany itself but directly across the river in Rensselaer.

    Albany is also served by Greyhound Bus Lines, Megabus, TheLuxBus and the Capital District Transportation Authority.
