Tomakomai is a city and port located in Iburi, Hokkaidō, Japan. It is a commercial and industrial port, however it is surrounded by forests, moss-covered valleys, Lake Shikotsu, Lake Utonai and nearby Mount Tarumae.

Tourists in Tomakomai can visit the region of Biratori, best known as a center of Ainu culture and visit Ainu villages that make up this mountain district.
