Upernavik, Greenland

Upernavik is a small town in the Qaasuitsup municipality in northwestern Greenland, located on a small island of the same name. It is located within the Upernavik Archipelago on the coast of northeastern Baffin Bay.

Visitors to Upernavik can view the open-air museum, the town’s old church and cemetery and experience dog sledding. Visitors can also learn about traditional Greenlandic hunting culture.
