Pesaro is a town and comune in the Italian region of the Marche, capital of the Pesaro e Urbino province, on the Adriatic. Flanked by cliffs that ring the coastline, Pesaro is a favorite beach destination.

Pesaro has a charming historical centre where visitors can view its main sights including the Casa Rossini, home of the composer Rossini. The Ceramics Museum is interesting, as is the Rocca and the Oliverian Archeological Museum.
