San Fernando, Philippines

San Fernando is a city in the Philippine province of Pampanga. It is the capital city of Pampanga and the regional center of Central Luzon (Region III). The city is well known for its giant lanterns and is also popularly known as the "Christmas Capital of the Philippines." The annual Giant Lantern Festival is hosted by the city every December.

San Fernando City is the home to many historic government buildings, schools, hospitals, industrial structures and sites. Anther popular attraction in San Fernando is the Paskuhan Village, which offers visitors a look at a the cultural and historical heritage of the four regions of the North Philippines as well as a showcase for their indigenous products, and arts and crafts.
