Marstrand is a seaside locality situated in Kungälv Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It is a popular tourist and sailing resort which hosts the annual Match Cup Sweden sailing competition.

Marstrand’s 17th century fortress Carlsten, offers wonderful views over the Marstrand archipelago. The town itself is very attractive with painted wooden houses dotting the harbour.
