    It is particularly known for jasmine, and this is how the tourist resort of Yasmine Hammamet got its name. Souvenirs made of jasmine can be purchased throughout Hammamet.

    Transport Links – There are 6 main airports in Tunisia, Tunis (Carthage), Enfidha, Monastir, Tabarka, Djerba and Tabarka, Tunis being the capital. You can get a private taxi from Monastir or Tunis to Hammamet which is approximately 1hour or from Enfidha.

    There are a lot of trains stopping at Bir Bou Regba (Rekba) from Tunis which is along the main train line and only 6km from Hammamet. You can easily take a taxi from the Bir Bou Regba (Rekba) station to wherever you want to go in Hammamet. There are fewer trains from Tunis directly to Hammamet.
