Fajardo, Puerto Rico

Fajardo is a small city in Puerto Rico located in the east region of the island, bordering the Atlantic Ocean, north of Ceiba and east of Luquillo. It is a popular tourist destination due to close proximity to nearby islands of Palomino, Icacos and Palominito.

Attractions in Fajardo include Seven Seas beach,the Las Cabezas de San Juan Light House and the Santiago Apostol Cathedral. The bioluminescent lagoon is one of the main attractions. Visitors kayak through a mangrove forest at night to the bay where luminiescent plankton glow bright blue.
