Sandane

Sandane is the administrative centre of the municipality of Gloppen in Sogn og Fjordane county, Norway. Sandane is 20 kilometres (12 mi) south of Nordfjordeid and about 16 kilometres (9.9 mi) west of Byrkjelo.
Sandane is in a central and idyllic location by the Gloppefjord surrounded by hills and mountains. The buildings "Heradshuset" with its bell tower and "Tankeringen" enjoy a central location. The centre of Sandane also has a number of unique, small shops which offer a wide variety of goods.
