  2. Tresco is the second largest island of the Islands of Sicilly, Cornwall, UK. It is one of only five inhabited island which form the Isles of Sicilly. It is internationally recognized for its Tresco Abbey Garden, which showcases outstanding specimens of flora and fauna found within the Northern Hemisphere.

    Tresco offers visitors a variety of attractions and activities. There are a wide range of outdoor activities including cycling, diving, fishing, golf, horse riding, swimming etc. Gallery Tresco at New Grimsby harbor is worth a visit, showing work form some of Cornwall’s leading artists.

    Port Location – The port is located at New Grimsby Quay on Tresco Island.

    Transport Links – Tresco can be reached from the British mainland by helicopter, fixed-wing aircraft or ship. The scheduled helicopter service flies direct to both Tresco and St Mary's: the other services go to St Mary's only, with a launch connection.

    The nearest large airport to the Isles of Scilly is Newquay in Cornwall. You can fly to Newquay from a number of cities in the UK, including London (Gatwick), Manchester and Edinburgh, as well as from Dublin, Cork and Dusseldorf (summer timetable only). The onward flight to the Isles of Scilly takes about 30 minutes and lands on St Mary's. From there a 10-20 minute boat trip will take you to Tresco or Bryher.
