  1. Port Overview

  1. Cayo Blanco, Cuba

  2. Cayo Blanco is a tiny coral island located beyond the Eastern tip of the Ancon Peninsula. It contains highly developed reef formations with a high degree of biodiversity and hosts a number of endangered species, including black coral and various ornamental reef fish species. It has extensive largely untouched beaches and provides nursery areas for snappers. The island is uninhabited, other than occasional tourists and the indigenous Cuban Iguanas and birds that have their habitat there.

Visitors to Cayo Blanco can go sailing, swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing. It is also one of the best dving sites in Cuba. The shallow waters surrounding the key are rich in marine life, including hundreds of colourful tropical fish.
