  2. Cobh is located 15 km’s from the city of Cork, on an island in Cork Harbor, County Cork, Ireland. It is a small port town which faces the sea in rows of terraces rising up the steep hillside, dominated by a tall and handsome 19th century cathedral, designed by Pugin.

    Cork City is Ireland's third largest city (after Dublin and Belfast) and has always been an important seaport. It is situated on the banks of the River Lee which flows through the city in two main channels. Cork boasts great architecture and a vibrant cultural life.

    Port Location - Most cruise ships berth at Cobh Cruise Terminal - Ireland's only dedicated cruise terminal. Passengers may disembark directly into the quayside Cobh Heritage Centre located in the renovated Victorian railway station. The town, situated within a few hundred yards of the shipside.

    Transport Links - Direct flights to the UK Europe are offered from Cork International Airport, located less then 10 minutes from Cork City centre. Long distance buses depart from the bus terminal in Parnell Place to destinations throughout Ireland. Cork's Kent Station is the main train station in the city, offering services to all over Ireland.
