Fethiye, Turkey

Fethiye is a city and a district of Muğla Province in the Aegean region of Turkey. It is one of Turkey's well-known tourist centres and is especially popular during the summer. The town serves as an excellent base for accessing some of the region’s ancient sites.

Fethiye has an excellent marina, good night life, a popular market and nearby Calis beach offers numerous water sports. Fethiye Museum, very rich in ancient and more recent artifacts, displays and testifies to the successive chain of civilizations which existed in the area, starting with ancient Lycia.
