  2. Minorca (Menorca both in Catalan and Spanish) is one of the Spanish Balearic Islands located in the Mediterranean Sea. The major towns are Maó and Ciutadella and the main tourist areas along the south coast include the resorts of Santo Tomas, Son Bou, Cala en Porter, Binibeca, Punta Prima and S'Algar.
